CS Operations was created from the desire to build a company that not only provided financial opportunity for its employees and stakeholders, but that created a lasting legacy of improving the communities in which we live and work. Our business model focuses on delivering sustainable solutions to existing problems, and finding creative ways and new technologies to address the needs of future generations.

 

Our Community

Making a positive contribution to the communities in which we live and work is a key corporate priority for CS Operations.   Both individually and as a team, we serve as volunteers, board members, and fundraisers. Some of the organizations we've supported include:

John Hallé

President and CEO

After more than 25 years of success with several entrepreneurial, high-growth financial companies, John founded CS Operations. John specializes in assessing opportunities and developing new business, with particular expertise in investments involving energy, infrastructure and complex financing scenarios.  

A longtime supporter of community health organizations, John is a former Spurwink Humanitarian of the Year.  He and his wife, Sharon, are the proud parents of two grown sons and several pampered pets.

Sam Olson

Chief Financial Officer

With more than 25 years of experience in finance, Sam leads the Accounting team at CSO, including general accounting operations, AP, AR, payroll, cash processing, financial statement preparation, budgeting and forecasting, variance analysis, internal reporting, and internal controls. Sam holds a Bachelor’s of Business Administration from Roanoke College and an MBA from Babson College.

Bob Desrosiers

Executive Vice President, Corporate Operations

Ensuring a high level of execution in legal and financial transactions, Bob oversees the Compliance team. Bob's specialties include workout and strategic initiative implementation efforts, managing energy projects with complex legal and financial structures, and managing relationships with external partners.

Sarah Boone

VP, Public Affairs & Administration

Sarah handles government affairs, marketing, and communications for CSO. With 20 years of experience, she’s adept at developing targeted messaging strategies for selected audiences. Her previous experience includes roles within the non-profit and private-sector arenas, giving her unique perspective on how to appropriately tailor marketing campaigns to achieve specific outcomes. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Rhodes College.

Our Team

The CSO team includes industry veterans in energy, finance, and engineering, supported by strong accounting, legal, marketing and sales specialists.  CSO also maintains a network of external relationships which allows us to seek and retain specialty talent when a particular situation requires outside resources.
